[english below] – Grâce à la collaboration d’artistes considérés comme des maîtres en leur domaine, Chants de Vielles est fier de proposer, depuis 7 ans, un programme d’enseignement spécialisé s’adressant tant aux chanteurs qu’aux instrumentistes. Ces classes en groupes restreints se présenteront en deux temps. L’un en pré-festival les jeudi 25 et vendredi 26 juin 2015 et l’autre, pendant le festival, ou les stagiaires auront l’occasion d’expérimenter divers apprentissages en contexte grand public.

Pre-festival Master Classes 2015
For seven years now, and thanks to several artists all acknowledged as masters in their respective fields, Chants de Vielles has been proudly providing an education program for singers and instrumentalists. These master classes in small groups take place first in pre-festival sessions (for 2013: Thursday and Friday, June 25-26), then during the festival, where participants get to practice various skills before a large audience.

- HURDY GURDY – Instrumental technique, repertoire & stylistic approaches with Marc Anthony (France)
- BAGPIPE – Perfecting style and repertoire with Éric Montbel (France)
- QUÉBÉCOIS BUTTON ACCORDION with Sabin Jacques (Bellechasse)
- FIDDLE – Quebec repertoire & technique with Éric Favreau (Québec)
- GUITAR – Technique of accompaniment with Paul Marchand (Lotbinière)
- JAW HARP– History, technique & Quebec repertoire with Daniel Roy (Québec)
