Junge Tänzer aus Bochum wünschten sich, dass es auch einen Bal Folk im Herzen des Ruhrgebiets gibt, nachdem sie solche Tanzfeste im und ums Ruhrgebiet erlebt hatten. Nun wird dieser Wunsch mit Tanz+ Folk! am 24. und 25. Januar endlich Wirklichkeit!
Wir starten am 24. Januar in unser kleines Folkwochenende mit zwei aufeinander aufbauenden Tanzworkshops für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene, die von Live-Musik begleitet werden. Damit das neu Erlernte gleich zur Anwendung kommen kann, findet am Abend des 25. Januars ein Tanzfest statt.
Gastband des Abends ist die junge Gruppe Elanor aus Belgien, dem Heimatland des BOOMBAL.
Außerdem spielen As Seirbhís und Wüdneks Erben aus dem Ruhrgebiet.
Eröffnet wir der Ball durch Scots'n Breizh, eine vielköpfige Pipe-Band, die wie beim bretonischen Fest Noz zum Tanz aufspielt.
Zum Abschluss findet eine gemeinsame Session der Musiker statt, zu der auch die Musiker unter den Tänzern herzlich eingeladen sind. Denkt also bitte an eure Instrumente!
