– O Encontro Internacional Zona da Zanfona cumpre trece anos nesta edición de 2017. Por Narón e Rianxo teñen pasado os mellores tocadores de Europa. Consolidado como referente deste instrumento milenario. A repercusión destas xornadas chega a unha grande parte do público interesado neste tipo de músicas, atrae a iniciados e a curiosos e é un revulsivo para a vida cultural da vila cando se celebra así como a proxección internacional dos vídeos gravados e material recollido nas xorndas.

Curso para músicos iniciados na Zona da Zanfona con dous mestres vindos dos Estados Unidos. Será unha sesión con cada un en xornada matutina (RT.Taylor) e vespertina (Brian McCoy). O obxectivo é recibir maxisterio de dúas visións moi particulares do instrumento, unha do veterán tocador de California R.T.Taylor, introductor da zanfona nos USA e outra do novo tocador de Ohio, Brian MacCoy, un dos xovens valores americanos cunha perspectiva moi contemporánea e aberta da zanfona e as súas posibilidades.
